Cheese Monkey Joowish - State of fashion address

Hi and welcome to my blog :-)

My name is Tlholohelo Ramaele A.K.A Tlh Oux A.K.A Cheese Monkey and 'Cheese Monkey Joowish' is my t-shirt and sweater and clothing label. You are probably thinking, "damn that's cool name for a blog why didn't I think of that".
Anyways all credit goes out to my old neighbourhood where if you lived out your ambitions 'as do most of the people down in South Africa', you were referred to as a Cheese Monkey. Now since most people's ambitions are (to no fault of their own) primarily material orientated (think monkey season..lol), they need money (A.K.A Cheese) to be amassed, we'd referred to them as Cheese Monkey's. In this very way I came to be called a cheese monkey due to my sheer abuse of the term and my own ambitions of world domination lmao.
To clear the air and avoid and possible anti Semitic opinions about my t-shirt label I'd like to for the record say, that 'Joowish' is just a term used by people in the Townships of South Africa to refer to clothes (great looking ones that is).

Now I'm no fashion guru but like most South African I've been born with and innate ability to appreciate and dorn hip clothing. In this country we've seen brands come and go, and that is not about to change. A new storm is brewing with fantastic new creative fashion talents coming out of the wood work and mostly being expressed in the form of start up T-shirt brands, mine being one them, and I plan with this blog to show case all the new age fashion looks, brands and trends gracing the streets of South Africa (i.e Holmes brothers, aMakip Kip, Gaga, Njapedi, kwaal to name a few) . "Think of me as S.A's newest Satorialist blogger and soon to be clothing brand mogul....."
Watch this space for the first few pics and my opions on the state of fashion on the streets of S.A and be sure to follow me on facebook (Tlh Oux) and twitter (Tlh Oux)...................
